LYNNWOOD WA—James Watkins, who has galvanized grassroots energy around the district, will face incumbent Jay Inslee in November. Inslee, who won nearly 70% of the vote in ’08, was held to 56% Tuesday.
James Watkins easily defeated another Republican and a conservative independent to challenge Inslee in the general election.
“Citizens are fed up with party-line voting, a lack of transparency, fiscal insolvency, high unemployment, and economic uncertainty,” said Watkins.
